Article Overview

LONDON: ENGLAND, UK - 20 February, 2023: Mace, the global consultancy and construction company, is partnering with Persefoni, a leading Climate Management & Accounting Platform (CMAP) to accelerate global decarbonization outcomes across the built environment.

The partnership will offer a more efficient, transparent and cost-effective solution to carbon reduction in the construction and operation of buildings, and will be offered to customers across the globe.

The partnership will offer Mace’s technical delivery expertise and Persefoni’s market-leading climate management and accounting technology, enabling customers to benefit from greater project efficiency and the ability to deliver measurable and impactful outcomes. The partnership will introduce industry-leading software to help the built environment respond to increasing regulatory complexity and deliver decarbonisation targets with greater efficiency and speed.

As a carbon neutral company, Mace also revealed last year that it had secured a forward pipeline of advisory services which, once delivered, would save 1 million tonnes of carbon emissions for its clients. This partnership is yet another step towards Mace using its global platform to combat the climate challenge and deliver a sustainable future.

Persefoni turns consumption and emissions data into action, simplifying and accelerating the decarbonisation journey, enabling real and quantifiable progress towards a lower carbon footprint. Customers will benefit from a fully automated and digitised central repository for carbon data to enable climate action under the direction of Mace’s guidance and expertise. Partnering together enables both industry leaders to translate climate goals into actionable solutions even faster than before.

James Low, Global Head of Responsible Business, Mace, said:

“In our pursuit of a sustainable world, at Mace we have the opportunity to decarbonise the built environment at speed and scale. This partnership with Persefoni enables us to embed the industry’s leading carbon accounting platform alongside our global delivery expertise, bringing our clients a world-class decarbonisation solution and experience that translates climate ambitions into reality.”

Jason Offerman, President, COO and Co-Founder, Persefoni said:

“The built environment generates as much as 40% of the world’s annual CO2 emissions, and it will play a critical role in any solution to the climate crisis.  Within the built environment, there are few organisations as forward thinking at tackling this challenge as Mace, and we are honored to partner with them. Together, we will address immediate needs and configure solutions purpose-built for the sector.”
