Overview

Steven M. Rothstein is the founding Managing Director of the Ceres Accelerator for Sustainable Capital Markets. The Ceres Accelerator aims to transform the practices and policies that govern capital markets in order to accelerate reduction of the worst financial impacts of the climate crisis and other sustainability threats. Steven’s 40 years of experience will be critical to explore the most effective strategies for the Accelerator to focus on and move capital markets towards climate sustainability. He has worked at local, state, federal, and international levels of government. Steven served on many non-profit and government boards. He has spoken and written extensively and worked with partners in the corporate, non-profit, government, and philanthropy sectors. Steven has a BA with Honors in Political Science from Williams College and an MBA from Northeastern University’s D’Amore - McKim School of Management. He also studied at Duke University’s, Institute of Public Policy.

Dave Curran is Co-Chair of the Sustainability & ESG Advisory Practice at Paul, Weiss and Executive Director of the ESG and Law Institute. Dave is a recognized leader in helping complex organizations build resilience. In addition to his work in the ESG space, he has more than 30 years of experience in legal, technology, compliance, risk and ethics roles at FiscalNote, Thomson Reuters, IntraLinks, Integrity Interactive, Havas, Vertis and Campbell Soup Company. Dave has led many popular thought leadership conversations with senior executives on a variety of topics where business and technology intersect with the legal, compliance and risk ecosystems, including Transforming Law, Big Data, #MeToo and many others. Dave also serves as co-chair of the New York State Bar Association’s ESG Committee and was named in the National Association of Corporate Directors’ 2022 NACD Directorship 100.
