Getting to Know Persefoni: Meet Breanna Wheeler

Share:
Article Overview

Tell us about your role and what do you hope to achieve/accomplish?

For the past two years at Persefoni, I have had the pleasure of assisting customers and internal teams as the Customer Escalation Manager. I provide support on Persefoni's Customer Support Team to troubleshoot technical issues, deliver bug fixes, and document feedback for software improvements. My goal is always to provide a high standard of customer support and deliver positive outcomes. I am creating processes and documentation that will maintain those high standards as the company grows.

What is it about being a Persefonite that keeps you motivated to do your best work, even on the hard days?

I find motivation in doing what I do best, providing excellent technical support so that other teams at the company can focus on what they do best. For instance, if I can assist with a product question or feedback from a customer that leaves more time for the Persefoni Product Team to create new features and develop the platform. Seeing each project and customer footprint cross the finish line proves that these efforts have amazing results and make the hard days seem worth it.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

Outside of work, I enjoy horror movies, watching history and true crime documentaries, playing pub quizzes, pursuing new fitness challenges, and spending time near the water on the Texas Coast.

What achievement are you most proud of from the entirety of their tenure here?

One of my proudest achievements at Persefoni is all I have learned about carbon accounting and climate tech. It's strengthened my understanding of how organizations use the software, which has improved my ability to offer better, specialized support. I recently took the knowledge I've acquired and contributed to the help center, merging my technical writing experience and explaining technical processes like how to use custom emission factors in the platform. I could only have accomplished this more specialized support documentation with the knowledge and patience of amazing coworkers sharing their expertise. This continuous information sharing allows me to continue growing in this space. It's an incredible experience to go from a learner to a contributor, and I'm excited to continue to merge my experience with industry and best practice knowledge to create an even more amazing support program.

What's your go-to morning beverage?

I drink cold brew or iced tea to kick-start my mornings.
