Getting to Know Persefoni: Meet Nate Kirnie

Share:
Article Overview

Tell us about your role and what do you hope to achieve/accomplish?

As a Senior Account Director, I have the good fortune to work with some of the largest organizations in the world as they look for a software solution to automate and transform the way they work with their Sustainability data. Many of these great organizations have very ambitious goals with lean and very talented sustainability, IT, accounting, and compliance teams. As they navigate these ever-changing times, I have the fulfilling role of matching Persefoni's experts with customer expert teams and playing goal and requirement translator. My aspiration for my time at Persefoni is to develop deep personal relationships with the many great people I get to work with and create positive change in their lives and the planet with the exponential power of well-designed software.

What is it about being a Persefonite that keeps you motivated to do your best work, even on the hard days?

What keeps me motivated to do my best even on the hard days is #1 the incredible people I work with at Persefoni and customers every day and #2 being the best version of myself for my kids and future grandkids to have a positive impact on Mother Earth.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

Outside of work I love playing outside with my wife (read best friend), two extraordinary daughters, great family and friends, and of course our dog, Monty. Staying fit through a variety of games, exploring wild places, swimming in cold waters, and dancing probably top the list.

What achievement are you most proud of from the entirety of their tenure here?

I'm most proud of the great achievements of our customers. I get a front row seat to see how much impact they are having on our communities.

What's your go-to morning beverage? OR What book are you currently reading (or listening to)?

My go-to morning beverage is either MUD WTR or fresh green Yerba Mate. A fantastic book I'm currently listening to is The Lion Tracker's Guide to Life by Boyd Varty.
